Director and scholar
Dr. Sola is a director and scholar whose research covers electrical power systems, electricity grid, renewable energy technologies, sustainable energy engineering, optimal localisation of energy resources, energy conservation, energy storage, energy economics, environmental engineering, building energy, transport energy, energy infrastructure, energy policy, energy in society, and utility regulation.
He is keen on sustainability: environment, society, economy, and equitable distribution. Sola is especially enthusiastic about the development of solar energy, wind energy, and sustainable energy systems. In his works, he investigates how location resources could benefit systems in achieving energy sustainability through practice and through optimal deployment of techniques.
